15 seconds, 16:9. Set in the midsummer of Heisei-era Japanese countryside, this VFX video fuses photorealistic live-action footage with chalk animation that only contours. A complete one-shot from a boy's perspective without cutting from start to finish.

[Live-Action Space]
A midsummer afternoon. An old wooden detached house with tatami flooring Japanese-style rooms. Faded sliding doors, shoji screens, dry wooden pillars, chabudai stands, mosquito coils, CRT television, old fans, wall-mounted air conditioners. In the kitchen at the back, there is an old white refrigerator.

The strong summer sunlight through the shoji screen, the humid hot air, and a faint trace of heat haze. Faded summer colors, soft film grain, light color bleeding, slight bleeding, and frame shake, reminiscent of those shot with a 1990s home film camera.

[Camera]
The camera is a complete POV at the boy's eye level. A boy walks from the Japanese-style room to the kitchen carrying a handheld camera. Natural hand shake, vertical movement with breathing, pan and forward animation that follow slightly behind.

For 0 to 10 seconds, the boy's hands, arms, face, or body are not shown at all. The boy's right hand is only shown once after 10 seconds when he opens the refrigerator.

[The Absolute Hand-Drawn Animation Style]
Seals, penguins, and polar bears are all drawn using only rough chalk outlines. The inside of the body is a completely transparent hollow, and the live-action tatami mats, walls, furniture, and refrigerators are always visible through the animal's body.

Do not paint animals white or blue. Do not create an opaque silhouette. Do not draw color, shading, hair, or three-dimensional fleshing inside the body. Animals are represented using only outline lines, small dotted eyes, and short lines of the mouth.

The lines are not uniform digital lines; their thickness fluctuates, breaks, powder falls, and is redrawn frame by frame. Use white, light blue, and dark blue chalk lines, with small yellow and pink accent lines in some areas.

Liveliness is not created by painting animals, but by numerous small line drawings flying around. Snowflakes, bubbles, swirls, fish outlines, ice fragments, stars, wavy lines, cold wind ribbons, and speed lines move in the foreground, midrange, and background at varying sizes and speeds. There is fun movement throughout the screen, but the live-action room remains intact.

[0–4 seconds: Fan and seals]
An old fan shook its head on the tatami. Vortices of cold wind, created by white and light blue chalk lines, shot out one after another from the feathers.

Multiple vortex lines connect in midair, continuously transforming into a large seal with only outlines. The inside of the seal's body is completely transparent, with the tatami mats and sliding doors behind it visible through.

The seal swims happily through the air, twisting its body as it circles around the camera. Around you, small fish outlines, bubbles, stars, ice grains, and wavy lines follow in schools. From the seal's tail, multiple chalk lines stretch out. The camera slows down a little to chase the seal, then pans heavily toward the air conditioner on the wall.

[4–8 seconds: Air conditioning and penguins]
When the seal crosses in front of the air conditioner, cold air bursts out forcefully from the vent, formed by white and blue chalk lines.

The lines of cold air smoothly transform into penguins with only five outlines. The interior of every penguin's body is transparent, allowing the background walls and furniture to be seen through.

Five birds are not the same size and lined up; one large bird is placed in the foreground, three in the middle of the field, and one small bird in the back. Each of them flies through the Japanese-style room at different heights and speeds, swimming underwater like swimming through the sea. One spins, two cross, one slips under the chabudai, and the other quickly passes right next to the camera.

Around the penguins, snowflakes, bubbles, whirlpools, fish outlines, ribbon-shaped cold winds, and fine speed lines flow in abundance. The smoke from wind chimes, noren curtains, and mosquito coils swayed in the cool breeze. The camera follows the penguins, passing through the fusuma door and heading toward the kitchen in the back.

[8–10 seconds: Move to the refrigerator]
Five penguins and seals enter the kitchen and circle around an old white refrigerator. The transparent outlines of the animals alternately cross the front and back of the refrigerator, creating proper shading and depth.

Toward the refrigerator handle, blue chalk arrows, snowflakes, and fish outlines gather. The camera stops right in front of the refrigerator. Up to this point, the boy's hands and body are completely unseen.

[10–12 seconds: The boy opens the refrigerator]
For the first time, only the slender right arm and hand of a live-action sunburned boy appear from below the screen. The hand has five natural fingers and correctly grips the handle of an old refrigerator.

The boy pulled the door open toward him. The POV camera tilts slightly to match the weight of the door. The boy's face, left hand, torso, and legs are not visible. The refrigerator does not open automatically.

[12–15 seconds: Polar Bear and Shaved Ice]
The pale live-action light from the refrigerator illuminates the kitchen and the boy's hands.

Inside the refrigerator, a round polar bear with only outlines sat on it. The inside of a polar bear's body is completely transparent, allowing you to see the refrigerator shelves and food behind it through its body.

Don't just fill in the polar bear. Meanwhile, the shaved ice placed in a glass container before me is layered with vivid light blue and fine blue chalk lines, creating a sparkling, dense depiction. Create a contrast between the transparent polar bear and the lively shaved ice.

At first, the polar bear faces down and eats shaved ice with a spoon. The sound of the refrigerator opening makes the spoon stop halfway. After a brief pause, slowly lift your face and finally meet the camera's gaze. There are small shaved ice marks on the mouth from short light blue chalk lines.

At that moment, the seal and five penguins peeked out from around the refrigerator at once. Snowflakes, fish, bubbles, stars, swirls, and ribbons of cool wind burst all over the screen. However, all of these are outlines and fine graffiti lines, leaving the animal's body transparent.

The boy's hand remained gripping the handle. When the polar bear and the boy's gaze meet, a cold white air flows through the lens, and the edges of the screen become lightly clouded before ending.

[Audio]
No BGM, narration, or dialogue. Distant cicadas, old fan motors, wind chimes, footsteps on tatami mats, rustling clothes, air conditioner sounds, refrigerator doors, and small mechanical noises inside the fridge.

Hand-drawn animations synchronize the light sound of chalk running across paper, cool wind, bubbles, splashes, and the cool sounds of small ice pieces touching. Finally, emphasize the small sounds of polar bear spoons and glassware touching.

[Strict Rules]
Maintain the same POV as the one-shot until the end. The inside of the animal's body is completely transparent in every frame, without filling in white, blue, black, or similar colors. Opaque silhouettes, solid color cels, live-action animals, 3DCG animals, and three-dimensional fur are not altered.

For 0 to 10 seconds, the boy's hands or body are absolutely not shown. After 10 seconds, the boy opens the refrigerator with his right hand. The polar bear doesn't look at the camera from the start, slowly raising its head from looking at the shaved ice.

No cuts, scene transitions, teleportation, subtitles, text, logos, watermarks, or BGM are added.
